Kitchen functions
In the kitchen, you often work during irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. There are also more regular kitchen roles, especially during the day, such as those of a breakfast chef and lunch chef. If you don't have much experience yet, you can start as a kitchen assistant or apprentice chef. In these roles, you support your colleagues in preparing and executing production tasks. Good collaboration with colleagues from the restaurant is essential, including the assistant restaurant manager, breakfast staff, chef de rang, hostess, restaurant manager, restaurant supervisor, and waiters.
