JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of team Accounting at Vondel Hotels, you will be jointly responsible for the finances of our beautiful hotel collection. Among other things, you will be involved in the income audit and the checking and dispatch of accounts receivable. You will join a small team that works closely together. In addition, working with deadlines is really something for you! Our hotels are spread throughout Amsterdam with eight locations and one hotel in Maastricht. As part of Team Accounting, you will work from our service office located in Amsterdam's Houthavens. When you are fully settled in, working partly from home is possible.

YOUR JOB

On a daily basis, you will further deal with:

  • Checking sales and payments (income audit)

  • Checking and sending debtor items

  • Entering invoices and declarations

  • Preparation of payments

  • Booking bank transactions

  • Entering various journal entries

  • Preparing various administrative overviews

  • Supporting the Accounting Manager

THE (PERFECT) MATCH

We are looking for an energetic colleague who is administratively strong. You work accurately and have an eye for the smallest details. Working with figures is something that gives you energy, as is teamwork. You have good communication skills and enjoy helping your colleagues when they have questions about guest invoices, for example. Experience and/or affinity with the hospitality industry is not a requirement, but it is a bonus. You have a good command of English in both writing and language; fluency in Dutch is not a requirement.
