An old place with a new look. A few years ago, the monastery was converted into a hotel, and more recently, the hotel has come under new management. With us, you'll find authenticity with a personal approach. We aim to be a place for the local community, the rest of Utrecht, and tourists. We strongly believe in connecting international guests with the local environment. At Kanaalstraat 197, you’ll find the only hotel in Lombok, featuring stained glass, old wooden beams, a beautiful courtyard, a restaurant, a bar, and a chapel over 100 years old for events.

Your day will look like this:

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to guests from all over the world or just from around the corner from Lombok. At the same time, there are regular events of all sorts and sizes. You work 100% on the floor, primarily focusing on the guests. Together with the whole team, you are responsible for providing good service.

Sticking around after your shift? You're not the only one, because working in one of the oldest places in Lombok is great but enjoying it yourself with a closing drink might be even better. Not ready to go home? No problem, as an employee, you get a discount on everything (rooms, food, and drinks) in the hotel.

What we offer:

This position is for a minimum of 16 hours per week. Salary is in accordance with the hospitality collective labor agreement (CAO) and commensurate with your responsibilities and experience. As an employee of Hotel The Anthony, you can stay at the hotel for free once a year. Additionally, you can count on discounts on everything in the building, fun get-togethers, and more.
