Bartender (PT/FT) - Hoofddorp

General duties and responsibilities

• Taking care of drink orders for colleagues and bar guests.

• Making cocktails.

• Welcoming and accompanying guests, taking orders from guests at the bar and explaining the bar menu/drink information.

• Being attentive to guests' requests and ensuring compliance with set rules on working and presentation methods.

• Speaking correctly and hospitably to guests. Giving information to and entertaining guests at the bar. Answering questions, explaining drinks (composition), also in English.

• Consulting supervisor in case of special requests or comments from guests.

• Drafting the bill, settling with guests.

• Performance of preparatory tasks such as; restocking drinks, polishing and preparing glasses and putting away required articles.

• Clearing, cleaning and thoroughly cleaning the bar, bar equipment and your own work area.

• Maintaining contacts with colleagues and internal departments (informative).

Job requirements
     Experience:

• Hospitality experience is required
  
  Knowledge:

• Beverage and commodity knowledge is required.

• No specific education is required for this position.

• However, hospitality training is an advantage.
