Objective
Contributing to the hospitable service in our restaurant during breakfast and lunch by warmly welcoming guests, informing them about the dishes and the breakfast buffet. Ensuring that guests have a pleasant start to their day, are satisfied, and are eager to return time and again.
Daily Tasks:
Welcoming guests and guiding them to their table.
Taking orders and entering them into the Lightspeed system.
Serving food and drinks to guests.
Restocking the breakfast buffet and ensuring good presentation.
Cleaning and resetting tables.
Printing bills and processing payments.
Restocking supplies and necessities.
Adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
Projects:
Contributing to the development and implementation of the breakfast buffet in collaboration with the F&B team.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
Enthusiastically sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues.
Important point of contact for both guests and the team.
Working Hours:
Early morning shifts for breakfast (starting between 6:00-8:00 AM).
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and move for long periods.
Ability to lift and move light to medium-weight objects.
Work Environment:
Indoor environment, dynamic and sometimes busy atmosphere.
Possible noise during peak hours in the restaurant.
Experience:
Demonstrable experience in the (higher) hotel or restaurant sector.
Skills (hard and soft skills):
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, is a plus.
Experience in a similar role is a plus.
Enthusiastic and inspiring ability to create and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Experience in making coffee is a plus.
Possible Certifications/Training:
Relevant certifications and training in hospitality (e.g., SVH, HACCP) are a bonus.
