The Bilderberg Parkhotel – The Park restaurant, located in the heart of the vibrant city of Rotterdam, is known for an attractive mix of contemporary luxury and history. Every morning we serve a delicious Bilderberg breakfast. We choose for very tasty, local, healthy options, and we pay attention to nature and what is good for now and later.
The Job
As a breakfast chef, you are responsible for preparing a delicious breakfast. You work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that the breakfast exceeds the guest's expectations every day. In addition to breakfast for our hotel guests, we also prepare lunch for business guests or sports teams, for example. Naturally, you will help with the Mise-en-Place for the evening, but you will also have administrative tasks such as HACCP and placing orders.
Who are we looking for?
- You are an early bird, shifts often start at 06:00
- You have completed chef training. Preferably, you bring demonstrable experience as a chef/breakfast chef
- You are stress-resistant and can keep your head cool in the heat of the kitchen
- You are open-minded and love to think creatively, and you enjoy creating a delicious breakfast with fresh and local ingredients
- Social Hygiene and/or Instructor certification is a plus.
