Breakfast Supervisor (PT) - Maastricht

Part-time (26 hours per week) or Full-time (40 hours per week, including lunch).
Based on 4 to 5 days per week.

THE ROLE

You are a morning person and work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our à la carte breakfast. As the main point of contact, you lead a team of approximately 8 staff members, collaborating closely with them. You ensure that everything runs smoothly and that the expectations of our guests are exceeded. Through careful planning and clear guidelines, you enable your team to perform at their best. You adopt an informal yet goal-oriented approach and are naturally hospitable. You are proactive, stay calm under pressure, and constantly seek to implement improvements. Additionally, you actively contribute to the quality development of our breakfast, ensuring that we consistently meet the highest standards.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Being present on the floor and working alongside the team during opening hours.

• Ensuring optimal staff scheduling.

• Managing leave requests and effectively overseeing the plus/minus hours balance.

• Guiding, managing, and coaching staff.

• Conducting job interviews and selecting new staff in collaboration with the restaurant manager.

• Ensuring consistent execution of service and quality standards.

• Evaluating and optimizing work processes and procedures.

• Ensuring sufficient and appropriate materials, equipment, and tools for efficient and effective operations.

• Acting as the face and point of contact for breakfast, both internally and for guests.

• Collaborating effectively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Handling and resolving guest complaints.
