Our hotel offers the award-winning rooftop bar LuminAir, the vibrant new WE ARE EDN restaurant and bar, Amsterdam’s most extensive breakfast buffet, and an in-house LOT61 coffee store. Our recently refurbished 557 guest rooms and 15 versatile meeting rooms, make our hotel a dynamic and exciting place to work.

Who are we looking for / What will you be doing?
Join our fantastic Team as our new Casual Breakfast Host. Set in the right in the bustling heart of Amsterdam, the Breakfast area is a great place to kick start your Host/Hostess Career with exposure to a diversity of Guests.
This position includes the following main tasks:
Welcomes all guests for our breakfast service
You explain the buffet, specialty orders and are responsible for seating guests
You are a team player who likes to work in a team of 15 daily
You have knowledge & passion about food, guest satisfaction and able to uphold the Doubletree’s quality standards
Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure cleanliness of work areas
Requires ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
Checks breakfast area for neatness, cleanliness, proper set-up, and backup supplies.
Performs other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management.
Requires ability to handling demanding & complaining guests and work under pressure
Requires ability to communicate both orally and in writing to guests and staff members.
