Join our team as a Chef de Partie at Jansz.-one of our two restaurants, known for its relaxing atmosphere and delightful dining experience. Your role includes preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring flawless service preparation, and contributing to a high-quality guest experience.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintaining mise en place for smooth service operations.
• Preparing high-quality culinary dishes and components mainly consisting of fresh ingredients.
• Finalizing dishes by portioning, plating, performing à la minute cooking tasks, garnishing, and checking presentation.
• Assessing and monitoring the quality of products/ingredients/raw materials, ensuring freshness and proper handling.
• Assigning and allocating tasks, providing instructions/guidance/supervision, and monitoring progress and execution quality in the respective section.
• Guiding and training (new) employees, interns, and trainees.
• Ensuring coordination with service, maintaining continuous alignment and communication with the service team.
• Contributing to menu changes/updates, and the development of recipes, garnishes, etc.
• Cleaning/tidying up the work environment, kitchen equipment, and other work materials.

Who are you?

• A passionate storyteller with a love for cooking.
• Brings a minimum of 2 years of culinary experience to the table.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Flexible to work on weekdays and weekends.
• Enjoys connecting with people through personalized service.
• Remains calm under pressure and recovers quickly from setbacks.
• Goal-oriented and maintains focus even under difficult circumstances.
