During your day you will focus on recreating the a la carte dishes and completing the daily tasks in the kitchen. You will be responsible for arranging the mise en place with fresh items to guarantee a smooth service to our guests. With the team, you will prepare dishes for the guests of the "Signature" Restaurant, the "XPLORE" bar and our conference rooms. As a Kitchen Chef in the Renaissance you will be able to develop yourself and gain a lot of experience in an international environment.

Your day will consist of

Responsible for recreating the dishes according to presentation standards and cooking according to recipes.
Ensuring all the food quality and safety standards are met.
Preparing the a la carte dishes and staff meals when requested.
Ensuring that any anticipated shortages are communicated promptly to the sous chef.
Being knowledgeable about about ingredients and allergies
Sharing your knowledge in the kitchen to your colleagues
Supporting and educating new team members about the department and the daily tasks
Ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy at the end of the shift

Are guest oriented and like contact with the guests. We aim to provide excellent guest service

Have a good understanding of the Dutch and/or the English language
