Hotel Altenbroek in 's Gravenvoer is located just on the Belgian-Dutch border and has 43 hotel rooms (soon 67), a gastronomic fine-dining restaurant, a bistro with terrace and multifunctional lounges for festive and business meetings. In the short term, we are looking for a passionate Restaurant Employee for our special estate with a 14th-century castle farm. What do we expect from you?
- As a Restaurant Employee you are responsible for a unique and professional guest experience and you manage the new bistro with the team;
- You serve our guests with enthusiasm and you provide every guest with an “experience” during lunch and dinner;
- You advise, serve and thus create a relaxed atmosphere. You welcome every guest with a big smile again and again;
- Your knowledge and skills about the products, and more importantly: your genuine interest, ensure a perfect experience;
- You fully pamper our guests, from the moment they arrive until their departure. You know how to exceed the expectations of every (hotel) guest;
- Complete the cash register operations and payments for you to perfection;
- You are a team player who works well with great colleagues, but also functions well independently;
- You have a warm, caring and open appearance, along with an eye for detail.
Who are you?
- You are a Top Host, hospitality is in your DNA;
- You have extensive knowledge of wine & food combinations;
- You are stress-resistant, have a high sense of responsibility, perseverance and you are involved;
- You are flexible: you also like to pamper guests during weekends and holidays;
- You have an affinity with the catering industry. Experience is an advantage, but we think enthusiasm and eagerness to learn are even more important! Good food too;
- You have your own transport;
- You are at least 18 years old;
- You speak Dutch and English. French and/or German is an advantage.
