What You Will Be Doing:

As Chief Engineer/Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of all hotel facilities. Through a detailed maintenance planning you make sure the maintenance of the monumental building is being taken care of.  This pivotal role reports to the Rooms Division Manager and collaborates closely with the General Manager of the hotel and is part of the hotel’s management team.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Manage the overall maintenance of the hotel, ensuring facilities are in optimal condition

• Supervise (sub)contractors' execution of repair and maintenance tasks

• Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance schedules and priorities

• Manage departmental budgets and expenses

• Adjust Priva (building management system) for comfort, air quality, and temperature control

• Procure materials and manage inventory

• Provide monthly reports on gas, water, and electricity consumption

• Coordinate technical activities with other hotel departments

• Oversee safety protocols including BHV organization, Legionella Management, and Risk Assessments
