Are you our new weekend breakfast chef? Are you a true morning person who loves delighting guests with a delicious breakfast at The Market Hotel? This position is specifically for weekends, where you'll ensure our guests start their day in the best way possible.
We highly value a positive attitude and a sense of fun, both towards our guests and your colleagues—because teamwork makes the dream work! Every dish that leaves the kitchen has your personal touch. As a breakfast chef, you make sure the hot breakfast buffet looks fresh, well-stocked, and inviting with high-quality ingredients. You consistently maintain the right doneness, flavor, and presentation. Additionally, you ensure there are always enough freshly baked rolls ready for your colleagues to replenish the buffet.
No morning is the same. Whether you're preparing a perfectly cooked omelet to order or restocking the buffet, you're always ready to exceed our guests' expectations. Thanks to you and your team, our guests can start their day with a delightful breakfast!
About The Market Hotel
The Market hotel has a 123 rooms, devided over 6 floors. We offer 7 different types of rooms for our guests, so there is a room choice for everyone! In the basement we have our luxury Wellness and on the ground floor we have our restaurant, which contains around 250 seats and two terraces. One terrace at the side of the Grote Markt, with around 300 seats and one terrace at the side of the Nieuwe Markt, with around 50 seats.
Because of the favorable location of our terrace at the East wall, you can enjoy the sun the longest. And don’t forget about our Bakery, which is also located at the ground floor. The theme of our restaurant is old Dutch in a new jacket. Accessible is the keyword to our menu. No fine dining cuisine, but quality food for everyone with a slightly Dutch tinge.
