What is important to know about this position?
The team consists of a Head Chef, Sous Chef, (Demi) Chef de Partie, Breakfast Cooks, Stewards, and Trainee Cooks. The kitchen is responsible for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banqueting events, and room service. Our banqueting events include meetings, receptions, buffets, lunches, and dinners for groups of 2 to 230 people. The à la carte menu in the restaurant changes every 4 months and consists of a combination of international dishes and food design that fits the hotel concept. Your input is certainly appreciated here. The Chef is your coach and helps you to develop further.
Who are we looking for?
You speak English.
You have experience in a similar position and experience with HACCP.
You are flexible, collegial, and work independently.
You are creative and want to see your dishes on our menu.
What will you do?
Support the Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality dishes
Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients to prepare refined culinary creations
Ensure the quality, presentation, and taste of the dishes
Actively contribute to the development of new menu items
Ensure a clean and safe working environment, according to HACCP guidelines
Collaborate with a close-knit team to continually surprise the guests
