(Demi) Chef de Partie Banqueting - Amsterdam

Who are we looking for / What will you be doing? 

Join our fantastic Team as our new (Demi) Chef de Partie Banqueting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wishing to play an integral part in working in a newly rebranded hotel, helping to shape this hotel into a destination of choice for both business and leisure travellers.

This position includes the following main tasks:

• You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. 

• You will be required to assist with food cost controls

• You will prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines

• Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination

• Prepare all mise-en-place for all relevant menus

• Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner

• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation

To successfully fulfil this position we are looking for an organized, pro-active and involved culinary enthusiast who can delight our guests with his culinary skills Therefore, we are looking for the following attitude and skills:

• Be environmentally aware

• A positive, proactive attitude.

• You have good communication skills in English, both vocally and written. Any other languages would be an advantage.
