We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Demi Chef de Partie at Hilton Garden Inn Leiden. We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our kitchen team and contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and presenting dishes according to the menu specifications
- Execute tasks assigned by superiors efficiently and diligently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
- Contribute ideas for menu development and special promotions

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification is an asset
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
- Flexible with early and late shift rotations
