The modest guardian of hygiene, the keeper of shine and the silent power behind the scenes. Your wealth lies not in the spotlight, but in the grace with which you treat every piece of crockery, glassware and cutlery, with a tireless determination to make each item shine like a star at the dining table.

What will you be doing? 

As a dishwasher, you ensure that our guests can enjoy delicious food on clean tableware. When the dishes are carried into the kitchen, sort all the crockery, glassware and cutlery and remove the dirt and food remains. You then place everything in the appropriate racks and place them on the input track of the washing machine. When the washing machine is ready, remove all the dishes from the machine. Sometimes the crockery needs some extra love and you dry or polish the recently washed crockery. After this process, the tableware will shine again and is ready for use again.

In addition, you are very alert and you can see exactly when the equipment needs maintenance. You also have no problem taking on other work. But don't worry, these will always be related to the above activities

In the former Shipping House of Amsterdam, you’ll find one of the city’s most iconic five-star hotels: Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Conveniently located just 500 meters from Amsterdam Central Station and easily accessible from the highway, it’s a prime destination.

Your qualifications 

You live in the Amsterdam area.

Your shifts would be either from 07:00 to 15:00 or from15:00 to 23:00.

You have a good command of Dutch and/or English. Do you speak an additional language? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut!

What do we offer you? 

An uplifting position is for 0-hour contract in the heart of Amsterdam. 
A salary in accordance with the Hospitality collective labor agreement, from 14.06 EUR to 14.63 EUR per hour.
The contract is for 7 months with the possibility of extension. We want you to stay with us! 
After your first month, our ‘Know Where You Work’ program treats you to a free overnight stay in one of our hotels!
