What are my responsibilities?

As Income Auditor/Finance Specialist you are part of the Accounting team. You…

• Control the revenue of the hotel;•Implement procedures and strengthen the control environment;

• Control the cash flow of the hotel;•Have a strong working relationship with different departments, especially with our B&F departments and Front Office;•Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.

• Record, store, and/or analyze information using property software.

• Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.

• Are flexible and willing to perform other Accounting activities.

To be eligible for this position you…

• Have excellent communication skills in English and preferably Dutch.

• Have preferably experience in working in a hotel and customer care handling.

• Have a Bachelor’s degree majoring in hospitality or economics.

• Are able to manage and prioritize duties and have knowledge of accounting procedures and tools.

A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
