Finance Supervisor (FT) - Schiphol

For our iconic hotel, situated on the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, we are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated colleague who will complement our Finance Team in delivering excellent service and hospitality, supporting Operational Excellence, while safeguarding controls and processes. This successful applicant person will have the ambition and potential to further develop and grow in the Finance department in Hilton Worldwide. You have great analytical skills and you are a master in Excel. Naturally, you are a leader. You like to take the lead, to take initiative and to be a coach for your team. Even though you work in an office, you always strive to achieve the best guest experience and drive the hotel’s performance together with your team.

As Finance Supervisor you will be responsible for:

Hotel related:

• Supervising and supporting the Finance team positions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit and General Cashier

• Assist with the monthly closing and related reporting

• Preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Assists in training, development and succession planning in the department

• Actively participates in seeking and implementing process improvements (OeX)

• Supporting the Assistant Finance Manager and Finance Director with projects

• Other activities arising within the Finance department

Other Hilton legal entities:

• Process Accounts Payable invoices and expense accounts for group companies and corporate Team Members

• Prepare Month end journals for different Hilton group companies

• Perform monthly reconciliations for Hilton group companies

• Support with the month end closing and reporting

• Assist with annual Statutory reporting

• Assist with any other related reporting to Hilton and local authorities
