Ready for an internship full of adventure and discoveries? We are looking for a F&B Service intern to strengthen our team! As an intern, you will have the opportunity to dive into the world of Food & Beverage, where you will sharpen all your basic skills. Providing guests with the perfect drink they’re craving and effortlessly upselling a delicious snack to go with it. You understand that when guests use a meeting room, it should be spotless, and you make sure to check if the used coffee capsules have been removed from the machine. And during a large dinner service, you know exactly what needs to be done.  

In addition, you have no problem supporting your colleagues behind the bar and are always ready to lend a helping hand. There are plenty of opportunities and a variety of tasks, ensuring there’s always something that suits you!

What will you do?

As an F&B  intern, you will enter the world of restaurant in the broadest sense of the word.

You will welcome guests at the breakfast host stand and take care of breakfast, lunch or dinner service, or give a hand in the bar to a colleague during busy hours, follow up on room service orders and  filling up stocks. Sooner or later you will know better than anyone how to give guests the very best 5* star service and you will ensure that your name appears in the reviews. In short, you are the versatile and indispensable link that ensures top service in the hotel bar and restaurant.

The former Scheepvaarthuis of Amsterdam is now home to one of Amsterdam's most iconic five-star hotels, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel has 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge and a Spa & Wellness center.
