Room Mate Hotels (www.room-matehotels.com) is a Spanish hotel chain that has 2 hotels in the Netherlands (Amsterdam and Rotterdam), as well as hotels in major cities in Spain, Italy, Turkey, Mexica and the USA. We believe that staying with a friend is the best way to travel and we want our guests to feel the same. We are growing fast, and will soon have a presence in most major cities.

Room Mate Aitana opened its door in august 2013 and counts 285 spacious, bright and luxurious rooms, meetings rooms, a ballroom, a gym, Lounge, a marina and host a restaurant with Spanish and mediterranean food in a modern jacket.

Aitana is looking for a fulltime Front desk agent to take care of guests staying at her home and to give them outstanding service throughout their stay. As Front Desk Agent you are the central figure in the hotel that connects with flair and positivity our guests with all the other departments.

Your main tasks are:

Guest checking in and out
Giving Aitana's guests the best experience
Preparing several reports for financial and marketing departments
Ensuring a safe environment during shift
Taking reservations during closing time of reservation department and/or central reservation office
Provide information to guests
Night auditing
Make reservations of restaurants, excursions
Coordinate guest requests with other departments
Ensure high level of guest satisfaction at all times
You work in shifts, either in the morning, afternoon or at night.

What we would like to see from you:

Sincere friendliness, good sense of humor, enjoying life, positivity, and to share your view of the world. In other words: yourself!

We would like you to have the following profile:

Energetic and positive attitude, great communicator
Language skills: English or Dutch, plus preferably a 3rd language
Excellent service provider, no does not exist in your vocabulary
Deliver results in a high pressure environment
Lives in Amsterdam or in immediate surroundings of Amsterdam
Have EU nationality or Dutch residence and work permit

We would love if it you have experience in the hospitality or service industry, but this is not a must as long as you have the right personality for the job!
