Our hotel offers the award-winning rooftop bar LuminAir, the vibrant new WE ARE EDN restaurant and bar, Amsterdam’s most extensive breakfast buffet, and an in-house LOT61 coffee store. Our recently refurbished 557 guest rooms and 15 versatile meeting rooms, make our hotel a dynamic and exciting place to work.

As all of our facilities are at your disposal, you will know the hotel like the back of your hand! This gives you the opportunity to provide our guests the best experience and recommendations. In order to ensure our guests have a memorable stay, you will also be in close contact with all other departments within our hotel.
This will involve a variety of administrative tasks, with the main focus being:
Coordinating (group) bookings and requests for the Front of House departments.
Support in handling reservation requests, general questions and/or complaints.
At busy/peak times: Support the Front Office Team with check-in/check-out of guests; teamwork and flexibility in this are important.
Answering (telephone) questions and/or comments - both internally and externally.
Supporting the Front of House Manager and his team with regard to preparing group arrivals, VIP arrivals and communicating with group leaders.
Support the team with regard to responding to (online) reviews and internal guest feedback.
Plan, coordinate and support team knowledge - team training sessions.
Ensure smooth service to the highest quality standards in all aspects of the operation, keeping in mind our brand values and standards
Assist the (Assistant) Front of House Managers with various administrative tasks and projects.
You will join a friendly and varied team with both Dutch and international colleagues.
Note: This is a position with working hours between 07:00 in the morning and 23:00 in the evening, which will also take place during weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

Who are we looking for?
Are you the type of person who notices every detail, makes every guest feel at home and is good at multitasking? Then you can put your qualities to optimum use with us!
To fill this position successfully, it is important that you have the following skills:
- At least 1 year experience as a Front Office Shiftleader, Front Office Supervisor, or strong experience in a similar role.
- You enjoy thinking with supervisors/managers for efficient handling of tasks
- Good command of both Dutch and English languages. Any other languages would be an advantage.
- You are an ambassador of the Hilton Values (Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership & Now).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience with our PMS system, OnQ is a plus
- A positive, proactive attitude
