Front Office Agent

Job Description

A fantastic and varied reception role in which you will perform all receptionist duties in rotating shifts. In addition to reception tasks, you will also provide service to guests in the bar.

As a Front Office Employee, your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming and checking in and out both domestic and international guests
Assigning rooms
Operating the telephone switchboard by answering incoming calls and transferring them
Processing payments and handing over the cash register at the end of your shift
Providing excellent service and ensuring a great guest experience (wake-up call service, laundry service, giving tourist information, and arranging restaurant reservations in the vicinity)
Preparing and serving drinks in the bar

Job Requirements

Minimum MBO-level education and thinking skills, preferably a completed tourism-related program
Relevant experience at a hotel reception
Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
Living near the hotel (you must be available to travel before 7:00 a.m. and after 11:00 p.m., on weekdays as well as weekends and public holidays)
