Front-office intern
The former Scheepvaarthuis of Amsterdam is now home to one of Amsterdam's most iconic 5* hotels, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. Where the passage tickets to the East and West used to be sold, we are now looking for an intern who, together with the current crew, will ensure that the right course is set and the ultimate service is provided as befits this house.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to dive into the world of Front-Office, where you will sharpen all your basic skills. From checking in and out, answering the phone and processing reservations: here you will have the opportunity to learn, grow and shine. Tasks and responsibilities
As a Front Office intern, you enter the world of reception in the broadest sense of the word.
You welcome new guests and take care of the check-in and check-out, you process reservations and all kinds of questions to which you of course know the answer. You know better than anyone how to give guests the very best 5* star service and you ensure that your name appears in the reviews. In short, you are the versatile and indispensable link that ensures top service in the hotel lobby.
Your luggage
You have a positive and driven attitude that, as befits a good crew, is able to communicate openly and honestly in both Dutch and English. With your big smile, you can even make the guest who arrives just after a 4-hour delay happy.
You do not shy away from challenges. If you also have experience in the hotel industry, you give us an extra reason to get excited! Thanks to your education, you already know a lot about the profession and that will be your key to success. But above all, you thrive in a vibrant environment where interaction with people is central, and you are enthusiastic about working together and contributing to the success of the team.
Your internship will start in February, but a different start date can always be discussed. With a minimum duration of four months, you are ready to make yourself indispensable within the reception team.

At Amrâth you will do an internship at an SBB-accredited training company and we take you seriously as an intern. That is why there is always the chance of career opportunities after your internship. We offer you an internship allowance between €450 and €600 gross per month (depending on the type of training you are currently following) based on a 38-hour working week and relevant courses. In addition, we also like to have a good time and there are regular drinks and parties
