As Front Office Manager you are the expert in the rooms department. You motivate and enthuse your colleagues, set and achieve targets with your team, and you ensure that all reservations and guests are taken care of with the biggest smile. In addition, you are the first point of contact for the supervisor of the cleaning company and the night team. As a member of the management team you report directly to the hotel manager. Because we work with small (management) teams at Holiday Inn Express, you will be (jointly) responsible for:

·         Managing, guiding, inspiring and training employees

·         Setting up, optimizing and guaranteeing work and quality procedures, as well as periodically carrying out checks on this

·         Partly take care of realizing the budgeted results/occupation percentages of the hotel, for example by applying (and optimizing) up- and cross-selling

·         Implementation of the total personnel policy including:

·         Drafting/approval of schedules

·         Ensure optimal staffing

·         Recruitment, selection, appointment and introduction of (new) employees;

·         Conducting appraisal interviews

·         Training, guiding and motivating employees

·         You have a natural talent for hospitality and friendliness is your second nature;

·         You are service oriented. You always go the extra mile for YOUR guests;

·         You can work well independently and are not afraid to take full responsibility for the hotel during your shift. You are not afraid to make decisions by yourself;

·         +4 years’ experience in a Front Office roll;

·         You have a good sense of humour and love your work;

·         Morning or evening shifts, working on weekends and public holidays, that is not a problem for you, you are flexible;

·         Good command of the Dutch and/or English language. Other languages are a plus;

·         You work secure when completing administrative tasks;

·         You are a true multitasking talent;
