Our Front Office team is expanding and is looking for an enthusiastic new colleague who is ready for the next step in his/her career. You have already gained experience as Senior Receptionist or Supervisor and you are ready for the next step. You are eager to develop yourself further and are hungry for more responsibility. You take ownership of your tasks and foster a positive energy within the Front Office team as Service Manager/ Front Office Supervisor. Together with our new service manager team, as we call this team, you will be the new valued asset to our team!

Creating memorable moments with the team is what you enjoy the most, delivering the guest just that little bit more than they expected. What does your day look like? 

In this role, you will support the Assistant Rooms Division Manager with the daily operation and with administrative tasks. 

You will coach and manage the team and assist your colleagues with all Front Office procedures, when needed.


You lead by example and motivate the team every step of the way to ensure that the departmental targets are achieved. You will be a first point of contact for other departments and colleagues and communicate your daily operational tasks to the Front Office Manager. Are you ambitious? Great! In this role we would love to see your leadership skills. In training and supporting (new) colleagues and leading new projects for example. 


In March 2020, we implemented a new Property Management System called EMMA. Even though the system is already in place, there is lots to develop and you will take an active role in its further implementation. An international work environment, with all kinds of different nationalities, cultures and beliefs is where you feel most comfortable. You are an excellent English speaker so helping our international guests is not a problem for you. Do you speak other languages as well? Great! This will be an additional value within our team! 


We are looking for you if you: 

  • Have degree in Hotel management or related other studies;
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience within the Front Office department in the role of Senior Receptionist, supervisor or comparable;
  • Have developed coaching or leadership competencies and skills;
  • See it as a positive challenge to work with different IT and software systems;
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the English language, both verbally and in writing; the more languages you master, the better!;
  • Are determined and a real team player
  • Live in Amsterdam or region;
  • Are able to work during the day, evening and weekend
  • Understand that night shifts could be part of your work too, and do not see this as a problem.
