General Cleaner Night - Amsterdam

Are you a night owl with an eye for detail and are order and tidiness your second nature? Then you fit perfectly in our housekeeping team. As a night cleaner you are an important face for Volkshotel. You ensure that all public areas, from Badplaats at the 8th floor to the soundbar in the basement, are spotlessly clean.

• Capable of speaking Dutch and/or English and at least 18 years old?
• Obsessed with cleanliness?
• Willing to work multiple night shifts per week?
• Available on weekends?
• A proactive person?

What your work night looks like:

At the start of your shift you will check the briefing from your supervisor. Then your shift begins. As a Night Cleaner, you are an important face for Volkshotel. You will take care of all the public spaces during the night hours. You’ll make sure that everything, from the public spaces, to our furniture and corridors are clean, tidy and dust free. Next to this you report any technical defects to our night receptionist. Before your shift ends you make sure all the waste and debris is stored and disposed of in the correct way. You’re part of our Housekeeping team and supervised by the Housekeeping Supervisor. During your shift there will always be someone at the reception who you will assist in case of an emergency. To make sure you are equipped to help out you will be getting a BHV emergency training. Need to relax after work? No problem, jump in our hot tubs on the 8th floor. Don’t want to go home yet? You don’t have to. As a Volkshotel employee you get a discount on everything (programming, rooms, food and drinks) in the hotel.
