General Management Trainee - Amsterdam

Ready for an internship full of adventure and discoveries? As a General Management Trainee, you will be part of the Management Team consisting of the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Front & Backoffice Manager, Housekeeping Manager, Executive Chef, Head of Technical Services, Sales Manager, Administrator and HR Advisor. During your internship, you will work closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager and you will be given plenty of room to independently take on tasks. 

What will you do? 

Are you an organizational talent with an eye for detail and a passion for hospitality? For our dynamic hotel team, we are looking for a General Management Trainee who will support our General Manager and Assistant General Manager in their daily work. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for organizing and attending management meetings, coordinating internal communication and monitoring safety procedures. You will be involved in handling complaints and room-related challenges, always striving for the best solution. In addition, you maintain contact with hotel schools, supervise the onboarding and termination of new colleagues and ensure that all procedures and standard operational processes (SOPs) are complied with. You have a keen eye for areas for improvement and take proactive action to implement them. In addition, you tackle outstanding projects and ensure smooth implementation. With your structured working method and communication skills, you contribute to smooth and efficient business operations.
