What will you be doing?
As General Manager, you will lead the team at The Lancaster Hotel. Guest satisfaction is your number one priority, and you are happy to go the extra mile for it. You guide and motivate your colleagues to provide the absolute best service to guests every day. You are not hesitant to assist in operations and are simultaneously the face of the hotel to the outside world. Together with the management of Eden Hotels, you will set the policy and ensure its implementation. You are ultimately responsible for determining and achieving the established revenue and profit targets.

Welcome to The Lancaster Amsterdam, an impressive monumental building full of special details. The stylish 4-star The Lancaster Hotel Amsterdam with 122 rooms is located in the trendy Plantage district. A green part of Amsterdam's centre where hotspots spring up like mushrooms. Oh, and did we mention that Artis Zoo is across the street? A design hotel perfect for a business visit as well as a city break!

Who are you?

You are very independent and have a hands-on mentality.
You easily build a team from a group of people.
You always go the extra mile for the ultimate guest and employee experience.
You have solid knowledge of rooms (revenue).
You are capable of translating policy into concrete execution.
It is a plus if you have knowledge of the Mews system.
You are very familiar with Amsterdam City and know all the ins and outs of the city.

A Full-time contract of 1 year (with an intention to extend).
