Behind its historical facade of 19th century buildings, Swissotel Amsterdam offers 114 luxurious, sound-proofed guest rooms and suites in a contemporary and sophisticated style.
Swissôtel Hotels and Resorts are operating 25 hotels worldwide under Accor hotels.
ROYAL98 is our restaurant. ROYAL98 is a food concept in the center of Amsterdam where thin crust wood oven pizza and Italian authentic dishes play a central role. Swissotel is looking for a group Sales Executive, who will be responsible for the below mentioned duties.
Main responsibilities:
1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the group sales segment for hotel rooms and dinner groups.
Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets through proactive selling and upselling.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for business growth.
2. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including corporate accounts, event organizers, and travel agencies.
Act as the main point of contact for group bookings, ensuring client needs are understood and met.
Regularly follow up with existing clients to secure repeat business.
3. Group Booking Management:
Handle group booking inquiries, negotiate rates, and prepare proposals and contracts.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., operations, catering, front desk) to ensure seamless delivery of group services.
Monitor and manage group reservations, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in the booking system.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in hospitality, events, or travel industries.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to close deals effectively.
Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple group bookings simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
