Is organizing really your thing? We are looking for a Groups & Events Executive to join our team in Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam.

As a Groups & Events Executive you work together with the team on the organization and planning of groups and events. This includes meetings, conferences, dinners, but also other events such as drinks, (theme) parties and chamber groups.

SOME RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maximizing turnover and guest satisfaction through a quick and adequate response to requests, converting requests and organizing a successful event.
Commercial insight and strategic implementation of group and event pricing and planning.
Clear communication, verbal and written, with customers and internal departments regarding agreements and execution of the events.
Managing meetings and events from A to Z
Proper contractual handling, guaranteeing deposits and co-responsible for correct invoicing
Coordinating menu arrangements for clients that maximize revenue potential for the hotel while serving client needs.

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT ADDITION TO OUR TEAM?

You have at least 1 year of experience in Event Management.
You have an HBO working and thinking level and preferably have completed a Hospitality-related course (Higher Hotel School, Facility Management, NHTV).
You have experience with both social and business events. Do you also have experience with hybrid events? That's a great advantage!
You have experience with Opera Sales & Catering.
You have good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
You have a creative and positive mindset and 'you do not take “no” for an answer'.
You are professional, service-oriented and a real team player!
You have good communication skills and make new contacts easily and quickly.
You can think strategically, have numerical insight and are able to lead.
You have your own transport.
