Your leadership is essential in guiding our kitchen team for breakfast, Bar & Brasserie Werkspoor, and our banquet halls, where we host up to 200 guests!
What you'll do as Head Chef at Inntel Hotels
As head chef, you’ll lead our kitchen brigade and act as a coach and motivator for a team of 10 staff members. The different hospitality concepts require varied approaches and preparations, and you know how to maintain an overview. Additionally, as head chef, you’ll be part of the hotel’s Management Team.
One advantage of working in a hotel is that we are open 7 days a week, from breakfast to dinner, offering plenty of variety in tasks and work hours. You’ll work alternating day and evening shifts, and occasionally a breakfast shift.
Here’s what you’ll enjoy doing:
- Leading, coaching, and inspiring your kitchen team;
- Maintaining order and calm across different hospitality concepts through thorough preparation and task allocation;
- Working with our Inntel Hotels menu: Inntel Classics, with the freedom to create your own dishes and set prices. You’re skilled at managing costs effectively and bring creativity to crafting group menus;
- Collaborating with clients on event planning, offering surprising recommendations that exceed expectations and are feasible to execute;
- Actively contributing to the growth and development of our hotels through your role in the Management Team.

To succeed in this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Same level experience as a Head Chef
- Experience working in restaurants, as well as with banqueting and events, so you know what is required of a kitchen in various hospitality settings;
- Proven leadership experience;
- Thorough knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety, and safety regulations;
- The ability to keep an overview across multiple outlets, multitask, and set the right priorities to meet deadlines;
- Strong listening skills and the ability to respond effectively to complaints and challenges from the team or guests.
