Hotel Manager (f/m/d) - Amsterdam

MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West is looking for a Hotel Manager (f/m/d) responsible for the smooth running of the daily business in all departments, supporting preopening procedures and equally enthusiastic about people and numbers.

YOUR TASKS

• Lead and inspire the hotel team by fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive working environmen

• Ensure smooth hotel operations, from recruitment and staff scheduling to budget planning and compliance with MEININGER standards

• Work closely with the Revenue team to optimize market penetration, monitor financial KPIs, and ensure cost control for maximum profitability

• Review guest feedback, implement improvements, and create an outstanding guest experience

• Ensure health and safety standards, legal regulations, and licensing requirements are met at all times

• Oversee procurement, licensing, staffing, and operational setup to ensure a successful hotel launch (if applicable)

• Work closely with MEININGER’s HQ teams (HR, Finance, Revenue, and more) to drive the hotel’s success

YOUR PROFILE

• You have at least two years of senior hotel management experience in a leadership role

• You are an inspiring leader who motivates and develops your team

• You have experience in the Dutch market and understand local regulations and industry standards

• You take a hands-on, problem-solving approach and think entrepreneurially

• You have excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (other languages are a plus)

• You have strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, revenue, and costs

• You are proficient in front office systems (e.g., Sihot, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office

• You are flexible and willing to travel occasionally to support other locations
