In the position of Hotel Manager at the Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and all daily activities within the hotel. Together with your Management Team, you will be responsible for optimizing the commercial, operational, and financial performance of the hotel. You know how to increase efficiency across various departments and are always looking for new initiatives or improvements. Together with your team, you will implement and steer the execution of policies. You are also responsible for the annual plan, the budget, and for overseeing and monitoring their execution. You know exactly how the P&L of your hotel works and how to drive results.

In this role, you will report to Anna Pruijn, the General Manager of Leonardo Boutique Museumhotel and Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center. You will also prepare the annual plan with her and present it to the Senior Management Team of Benelux Hotels. The Support Office of Leonardo Hotels consists of the departments Finance, ICT, Human Resources, Revenue, Sales, and Marketing. You can always turn to them for questions and advice regarding the relevant discipline. Each department has a contact person assigned to your hotel.

You know how to handle revenue maximization and cost control.
You can be the face of the hotel, with knowledge and experience in both rooms and F&B/Events.
You are a creative inspirer who can get the best out of a team.
You pay attention to details but always maintain an overview.
You are ambitious, plan ahead, and are not afraid to make decisions.
You have excellent communication skills, both with your team and with guests, and you make use of your network.
You have knowledge of hotel reservation systems and administrative matters.
You can translate policies into concrete action.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.

The Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center is located in the heart of Amsterdam, with Vondelpark and Museumplein just a stone’s throw away.
