What will be your role?

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor who wants to step up in their career. In this diverse role, you will be in charge of an assigned section of rooms, ensuring courteous and efficient service. Your main tasks will include:

• Supervising and coaching the room attendants and housemen;

• Preparing work sheets and performing quality checks on guest rooms;

• Reporting maintenance issues to Engineering;

• Collaborating with Security on lost and found items;

• Preparing rooms for VIPs in cooperation with Front Office.

Familiarity with Opera, REX, and HotSos systems is preferred for this role. As you progress in your Housekeeping Supervisor role, we will support your professional growth and provide access to additional responsibilities and projects.

What will your 5-star luxury working environment look like?

Housekeeping at the Conservatorium hotel is different from other hotels and you are part of the largest team on property. Together with your passionate colleagues, you will help to keep the hotel in pristine condition. When working in this department, you can expect to start between 7:00AM-9:00AM, 3:00PM if you have the PM shift.

Who are we looking for?

• Our ideal Housekeeping Supervisor is a team-oriented and reliable professional who enjoys looking after a multicultural group of housekeeping experts. Additionally, you have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Housekeeping, including one year as a team leader/supervisor (preferably in a five-star hotel);

• Proficiency in English;

• Accommodation in or around Amsterdam;

• A strong sense of responsibility, flexible work ethic, and keen eye for detail.
