Intern Housekeeping Supervisor (4) - Amsterdam

Does the idea of leading our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Supervisor and ensuring excellent customer service appeal to you?

We are immediately looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor Intern. The main tasks include supervising a team of approximately 7 Housekeeping Staff, performing cleaning duties, suite maintenance, and inspecting cleaned suites. As a Housekeeping Supervisor Intern, you will be guided by the (Assistant) Head of Housekeeping. Opportunities will open for you both operationally and administratively. In addition to supervising colleagues, you will assist in linen registration, inventory checks, placing orders, creating procedures, processing hours, and other administrative tasks. You will also ensure compliance with safety, health, HACCP, and work and presentation methods (in Hotel TwentySeven’s style).

In short, this is what you will learn:

- Coordinating/assigning tasks to staff members;

- Monitoring the progress and quality of work;

- Assessing the condition of consumables and timely reporting to the (Assistant) Head of Housekeeping;

- Ensuring the availability of sufficient tools and consumables by monitoring inventory;

- Coordinating tasks with other departments;

- Handling guest questions and complaints;

- Performing tasks to assist your Housekeeping colleagues;

- Assisting the (Assistant) Head of Housekeeping with administrative tasks;

- Ensuring compliance with regulations.
