We are recruiting a unique personality for the position of:

International Sales Manager | fulltime

What are we expecting from you:

o  You constantly and actively seek new sales opportunities and attract potential business for Van Oys, catering to both the corporate and leisure markets;

o  You collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop tailored marketing and sales strategies to strengthen the hotel´s brand positioning and increase revenue;

o  You exceed the set budgets through proactivity, alertness and creativity;

o  You have an eye for cross-selling and upselling opportunities and implement them whenever possible;

o  You organize on-site networking events to create new relationships and strengthen existing ones;

o  You actively participate in external networking events, trade shows and other occasions to increase Van Oys´ brand awareness and build business relationships;

o  You work closely with other colleagues in the Sales & Marketing team and report to the Director of Sales;

o  You continuously delve into the dynamic hotel market, staying updated on the latest trends and developments in the hospitality industry;

o  You are adept at working independently and don´t mind being on the road frequently;

o  You thrive on meeting new people and serve as a cheerful ambassador for Van Oys.

Who are we looking for:

o  You have relevant work experience in luxury hospitality (preferably under one of the most luxurious international brands at a 5* level);

o  You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English. If you also speak German and/or French, it would be a significant advantage;

o  You have knowledge of the markets in the BeNeLux, DACH, UK and US;

o  You bring along a relevant network that you have recently built in the Netherlands and Flanders, preferably also in Wallonia and Germany;

o  You are familiar with hotel software such as Opera (or can quickly learn it) and other common hotel software;

o  You are flexible to travel;

o  You are willing to actively participate in building our hotel, even outside regular office hours, including weekends and evenings;

o  You are commercially driven and possess strong networking skills;

o  You have strong negotiation skills with proven successes in achieving sales targets;

o  You are driven to take on challenges and achieve success in a competitive market;

o  You are a team player with a proactive and positive attitude, driven to achieve success not as an individual, but together as a team.
