JUNIOR CLUSTER REVENUE MANAGER
(office based or hybrid)
The position will be part of the YTL Cluster supporting a set of seven hotels: five 5-star properties in the UK, MUSE Saint Tropez and The Hague Marriott in The Netherlands. The portfolio includes a diverse set of properties with exposure to Marriott Brands (Threadneedles Hotel London, Glasshouse Hotel Edinburgh, The Hague Marriott) and Small Luxury Hotels (The Academy London, Monkey Island Estate, The Gainsborough Bath Spa, MUSE Saint Tropez).
The position will be based at The Hague Marriott with the option to work hybrid.
Your responsibilities:
The position of Revenue Manager encompasses various duties, depending on the candidate’s experience and goals, the role can be focused on specific elements but includes at all times oversight of below aspects:
STRATEGY DRIVER:
Be the strategic mind for a set of properties which you will look after. Depending on the experience the role will focus on one or several properties initially. Knowledge on all properties is required during annual leave of team members but a focus will be set on specific hotels.
Cooperate closely with the Strategy Team of the hotel(s) (GM, Sales Leader, Director of Operations) to set the strategy to maximize revenues for your hotel(s).
Provide daily and weekly insights into pick-up and pace reporting and provide any ad-hoc analysis.
Prepare and present valuable insights and recommendation on maximizing revenues for your hotel(s) in a weekly strategy meeting.
Keep effective communication with each respective property’s strategy team including General Managers and relevant departments (Front Office, Finance, Group Sales) to keep a close cooperation.
DEMAND EXPERTS:
Understand positioning of property in competitive set and demand drivers in your markets.
Conduct regular visits to competitors and develop relationship with other Revenue Managers from key competitors.
Regular review of pricing and promotional offers in the competitive set.
Conduct regular analysis of market share reporting - our measure of success.
Ensure all distribution channels reflect accurate information, rate parity is maintained and content is up to date.
Prepare and present weekly rooms revenue forecasting and contribute to annual budgeting and business planning to set out a roadmap for the property.
Stay engaged in digital marketing activities and provide input to digital marketing campaigns to drive business in line with revenue strategy.
Adopt a sales attitude: Identify sales opportunities for the on-property sales teams, identify upsell opportunities across all channels and departments. Be a driver for commercial success.
INVENTORY MANAGER:
Transient inventory management with regular pricing reviews and yield management to maximize revenues in line with the discussed revenue strategy and according to market demands.
Review and implementation of offers and promotions on all distribution channels in cooperation with the commercial property teams.
Evaluate and quote for group business opportunities. Ensure efficient group pricing systems are in place and maintain a sales attitude to encourage conversion in the commercial team.
Work simultaneously with different Property Management Systems (PMS) being Opera PMS and MARSHA (Marriott Reservations System)
Complete and audit the accurate input of reservations (both manual input and reservation checks of direct bookings). Cooperated closely with the YTL Reservation Cluster to ensure property details and promotion details are communicated

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a person who meets the following profile:
Previous work experience in Revenue Management required.
Degree from Hotel Management School, or general Business School required. Candidates with substantial previous experience in similar role may be considered.
Willingness to travel in Europe (approximately every other month).
Previous experience with Opera PMS, Marriott’s Revenue Management Systems, TravelClick and/or SynXis is strongly preferred.
Microsoft Office skills required, advanced Excel skills.
Creative mindset to think out of the box and have fun to drive revenue for our properties.
Eye for detail and ability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently and at a high standard.
Hands-on mentality and flexible to support and connect with all departments across the hotels.
Must be able to satisfactorily communicate in English verbally and in writing with guests, management, and other team members to their understanding.
Dutch language skills are preferred but not essential.
