De Plesman is based in a historic monument, and is currently transformed into a brand-new lifestyle hospitality concept. All the (wonderful - if we can say so) basics are there: an astonishing monumental building, a restaurant, a bar, a gym and meeting rooms. But de Plesman is not your regular hotel, we do things differently around here.

So.. what is different you ask? We are bold. We are looking for someone who wants to evolve hospitality together with us. We believe our team members are at the heart of our hotel and make it such a special place. We can’t do this alone though, hence we are looking for you to join our maintenance team and make sure the hotel and serviced apartments are in perfect condition.

You don’t consider yourself precious cargo: we leave our pride at the door and are the first ones to raise their hand in order to help each other to get things done. We are a team, every day of the week.
You are a hundred per cent yourself. You’re fun and kind. You take your job seriously, but yourself not too much. You believe sharing a few laughs goes a long way.
You are not afraid to make bold choices in order to ensure guests have truly amazing experiences. Making the right decision on the spot comes naturally to you.
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.

What will you be doing?

You are the go-to person when it comes to troubleshooting . You know exactly how to solve any issue with electricity, water and / or installation.
You are closely involved in the pre-opening phase of the hotel, by getting to know the building and installations.
You build and set up the maintenance department together with Maintenance Manager.
You take care of the maintenance of hotel and our serviced apartments so the hotel and apartments are in perfect condition for our guests.

Small print:

You have a technical background and / or affinity with technology, jobs around the house, and hospitality. You’ll be on top of our list if you gained some experience at a 4/5-star hotel.
You are hands-on, hospitable and you have an eye for detail.
You are a team player but also know how to work independently.
You speak Dutch and know your way around in English
You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague
