Maintenance Manager Amsterdam Arena Towers - Amsterdam

Key Responsibilities

Drafting of work schedules, leave arrangements, etc.

Conducting appraisal and assessment interviews and selecting new staff technical service in collaboration with the Hotel Management Team.

Monitoring implementation in qualitative and quantitative terms, taking action where necessary.

Deciding on the execution of (emergency) repairs than recording final repair on the work list in hand.

Enabling outside firms for failure elimination and repairs.

Necessary security measures and ensure the availability of necessary licences.

Requesting and assessing quotations from third parties.

Supervising/coordinating projects, conducting internal and external consultations.

Mapping of technical State of facilities, assessment of failure reports, determination of the nature and scope of the work to be carried out, scheduling of overdue maintenance on the current planning/work list.

In concept, identify necessary onderhoudsbudgetten and explain the workings to the Operations Manager.

Ensure timely availability of the necessary components, materials and technical tools.

Monitoring of environmental and energy reports and breakdown reports.

Management of local certificates (lift label, fire extinguishers, etc.).

We need from you

You have a good understanding of all aspects of hotel maintenance in a busy branded hotel and are eager to grow in your career and improve your skills with us. You can demonstrate excellent communication skills

at all levels and you are used to communicating in Dutch as well as English. You have knowledge of Health and Safety, facility management, proactive maintenance programs, project management and can lead the team to create a productive and positive environment. You have the flexibility to work at different times that suit your lifestyle and are happy to support the hotel in emergency situations such as those that arise.
