What's the Role? We’re looking for a superstar Maintenance Manager to join our team in the bustling port area of Rotterdam. Picture yourself working in an old spice warehouse, surrounded by the scents of India, with the stunning architecture of the Dutch Manhattan just outside your window. Sounds dreamy, right?

What will you do?

🔧 Maintenance Guru: You’ll be in charge of planning, executing, and overseeing all preventive and corrective maintenance. Your job is to make sure Room Mate Bruno is always in top-notch condition!

👷 Team Captain: Lead a team of 2-4 technical staff, manage schedules, vacations, and daily tasks. And don’t worry, you’ll still get hands-on when needed!

💡 Problem Solver: Got a technical issue? No worries! You’ll find solutions and keep the hotel running smoothly.

🏗️ Collaborator & Coordinator: Work closely with the property management team and ensure that any modifications in the hotel are carried out smoothly. You’ll also be the link between the building owner and the hotel.

📜 Contract Manager: Maintain close relationships with suppliers and partners, ensuring the right selection and keeping the budget in check.

🌱 Sustainability Hero: Monitor the hotel’s energy usage and come up with smart solutions to save costs and promote sustainability.

📊 Reports & Plans: From drafting a long-term maintenance plan to advising on cost control, you’ve got it covered.

🚨 Safety Guru: As the Head of Safety (BHV), you’ll ensure the hotel is safe and compliant with all safety and hygiene regulations.

🛠️ Part of the Management Team: You’ll work with other managers on the hotel’s big picture and join MT meetings.
