We are looking for you as our brand-new Supervisor Technical Services for the Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel. Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport opened its doors in spring 2018 in Badhoevedorp. The hotel consists of three separate wings: Plaza, Apartments & Urban. Together, we have 680 rooms, suites, studios, and apartments. The hotel also features various restaurants, bars, spa facilities, a swimming pool, a cinema, and eleven multifunctional meeting rooms.

What does the role entail?

As a Technical Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and assisting with all maintenance activities and structures within our hotels and resorts. You ensure that all systems and equipment are in top condition, so our guests can enjoy an unforgettable stay.

Your responsibilities:

• Arranging with internal departments regarding the reporting of (failure) notifications, priorities, precautions, etc.

• Collecting notifications, determining the nature and complexity of the issue or required maintenance, and establishing the order and materials needed for the tasks

• Requesting quotes from external companies and/or ordering necessary equipment or parts according to standard procedures

• Discussing costs and planning with the Chief Engineer

• Informing and arranging with external service providers about the work to be carried out

• Handling and resolving problems, and managing questions/complaints from internal departments/guests

• Carrying out necessary repairs and maintenance, such as minor electrical/data adjustments, cable installations, and socket connections

• Performing simple repairs to equipment, plumbing, lighting, locks, etc.

• Conducting touch-up painting due to damages

• Assisting with repairs/maintenance by external companies
