Quality Lodgings is a collection of independent quality hotels in Europe, where authentic hospitality and culinary enjoyment go hand in hand. QL was founded in 2003 with the goal of bringing together small-scale, quality-distinctive hotels with exceptionally good kitchens. The hotels collectively present themselves to the market in the QL Guide. In January 2020, Quality Lodgings was acquired by Q Hospitality Group (formerly EHM Group) and began executing an ambitious strategic plan centered around the four QL Value Drivers: Media, Sales & Marketing, Benefits, and Community.

WHAT WILL YOUR TASKS AS A MARKETING & EVENTS INTERN LOOK LIKE?

At QL, we work with a small, passionate team of six people. As a member of a small team, you will be involved in all aspects of the company, which means: never a dull moment! During your internship, you will learn all the ins and outs of Quality Lodgings as a brand. Each hotel in the Quality Lodgings collection is different, allowing you to unleash your enthusiasm and creativity.

Your work consists of three parts: From day one, you will actively create dazzling content for our top hotels. From concept all the way to the final result. You will handle text and images for our social media, newsletters, blogs, editorials, My QL (the communication platform for our hoteliers), and the QL Guide. The QL Guide, which is published annually, is one of the showpieces of Quality Lodgings and is available at the affiliated hotels and in our own webshop.

Secondly, you will lead the organization of all our major and minor events for our affiliated hoteliers. Content sessions, press lunches, and spectacular dinners. You are in charge from idea to execution. From beautiful invitations to meticulously executed details. It energizes you to make these events memorable!

Thirdly, you will support the team by managing tasks such as general mail and email, some administration, and other supporting jobs. And yes, this includes answering the phone, as we all do at QL.
