What will I be doing?
As Marketing Executive of Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, you will be working with the Marketing Manager to assist in the implementation and the creation of the marketing plan and activities, to increase hotel brand awareness. You will be working on the following tasks to the highest standards:
Communicate effectively to target markets, the amenities and benefits of the hotel, including hotel refurbishments, food and beverage provisions, conference, banqueting and events (via on- and offline marketing tools).
Work with local third party partners, including local media, and maintain professional working relationships with local official bodies
Create and maintain a comprehensive media and marketing contact management system relevant to the target audiences of the hotel
Work closely across all hotel departments, seeking proactive opportunities and planned promotions to address specific business challenges, for in-house collateral or events.
Drive the development of promotional activities, marketing channels and the production of marketing materials for specific events and coordinate photo/video shoots.
Manage and promote the hotel on (Hilton) websites and social media.
You support with supervising the Marketing Trainee
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
At least 1-2 years experience in a marketing role
Bachelors degree in marketing and/ or hotel management school with additional education in marketing
Mastering of the Office Pack, Canva, Wordpress and Adobe Creative Cloud Programs
Experience in the hospitality industry
Proven organizational and planning skills
Supervising experience
Excellent eye for detail
Proactive mind set to get things done
Ability to work under pressure at all times
Team player and able to work with different stakeholders
Excellent communication skills and able to adjust to audience
You have a great capacity to manage projects and you have strong communication skills
You are creative and have high-level writing and speaking skills in both Dutch and English
You are open-minded and have good interpersonal skills
Demonstrated attention to detail, while multi-tasking and delivering work on time
In the possession of a valid residence and working permit for the Netherlands
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Relevant degree, in marketing, business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution
Basic knowledge of budget or cost management
