Are you looking for a fun and dynamic job? Would you describe yourself as a pro-active, open and creative person? Then we are looking for you as our new Meeting & Events Executive!

Are you the one who plans the meeting of our guests down to the last detail? Are you the matchmaker between what our guests want and what we can offer? Is organizing your strength and do you like to make connections? Then, we would like to see you as our new Meeting & Events Executive! As part of our Sales team, you are the link between the meeting requests that come in, processing them and communicating them to our operational Food & Beverage team.

This job partially focused on active Sales. You will receive enquiries and it is up to you to determine how we will process this further. Is what the customer asks for feasible? Is it a commercially attractive request to accept? And what price do you ask for it? You send quotes and ensure that our hotel is well-represented on various websites and portals.

In addition, it is good to drop by on the day of the client's event and say hello, is everything to your liking? Furthermore, you let the operational departments take care of the meeting on the day itself and you prepare the finalization of the event. You are responsible for the financial aspects, but also for the after-sales part. Does this client need a Banqueting facilities more often? There may be more potential for us as a company. In this position, you are busy building a long-term relationship with our guests.


To summarize the above clearly, this job broadly comes down to the following:

  • Answering and processing meeting requests.
  • Taking ownership when it comes to deciding whether a request should be accepted or not.
  • Determining prices (in consultation with your manager).
  • Giving tours to potential clients.
  • Making quotes and following up on them.
  • Ensuring correct communication with the operational departments.
  • Taking care of the financial settlement.
  • After Sales.
  • Maintaining various portals when it comes to promoting our product.
  • Proactively looking for further possibilities for bookings with existing customers.
  • Eye for detail shows in the sense that you take care of everything down to the last detail for our guests, so they don’t have to worry about anything.

What we expect from you:

  • Affinity with the business market when it comes to events.
  • A hospitality mindset.
  • That you are strong in communication and especially in listening (towards our guests).
  • That you are commercially minded.
  • Strongly believe in creating and contributing to quality.
  • Have an eye for detail.
  • Some experience in Meeting & Events is required.
  • Good Dutch and English communication skills.
  • OPERA knowledge is a plus.
  • You are the face of our hotel in Amersfoort towards our business customers. They know where to find you when they need a meeting room.
