If we had to describe ourselves in traditional terms, we would be a luxury 4-star boutique hotel on the Herengracht in the heart of Amsterdam. But at Banks, we don't really like labels. We prefer to do things our own way.

We are 'a different kind of house', filled with friendly, sometimes curious residents who make you feel right at home from the moment you enter our front door. We take the time to get to know you, we know it's the little things that make the difference. Like your favorite cocktail ingredients or tea blend or that golden tip about that great little shop in that hidden street.

But when do you really feel at home? If you can do whatever you want without thinking about it. Fill the bath and pour a glass of wine. Or just take another piece of cheese. That's why everything that people are used to not being inclusive is inclusive with Banks.

Our quirky, familiar atmosphere allows our guests to experience the city like a true local. For example, by exploring the city by bike or enjoying a picnic in the Vondelpark. Whatever one chooses, our Banks family will provide itineraries, tickets, reservations, guest lists, packed lunches and more.

Our uber-personalized service is unconditional, which simply means that no matter what, we're here. We're like being a family, and we're here to make sure our guests' trip to Amsterdam is absolutely epic.

Your duties and responsibilities: 

• Setting up the breakfast
• Refilling the breakfast buffet.
• Taking orders for our egg station.
• General cleaning duties
• Prepare the breakfast for the next day.
