About Mother Goose

Mother Goose is situated right in the heart of the historical city centre. The building of Mother Goose is soaked in history, which we absolutely adore. Each of our uniquely designed rooms has its very own character, spread across 4 floors which all have an individual colour theme. Some rooms offer spectacular views of the beautiful city and landmark, the Dom Tower. Staying with us is everything but a traditional hotel experience. We welcome guests under our wings!

Job description:

 

As Front Office Goose you will be oversee and be responsible for all activities which take place during the morning and evening shift, including the below:

  • Providing the ultimate guest experience for all of our hotel guests
  • Coordination of details and issues between departments
  • Handling questions and complaints
  • Conversing with and checking in guests
  • Processing reservations in the PMS system Mews
  • Check-out of guests and financial settlements
  • Providing information and services to guests such as: general tourist information, Information regarding public transport and restaurants
  • Carrying out checks on correct administrative processes and procedures 

Salary is based on pay scale 4 from the catering collective labor agreement (KHN)

 


 

  • You are service oriented. You always go above and beyond for your guests, with a smile
  • You have a great sense of responsibility
  • Experience in a similar position is a bonus
  • Living in Utrecht or surroundings
  • Proactive and excellent in problem-solving
  • You are fluent in Dutch or English (other languages ​​are an advantage)
  • You are very flexible and can work in the mornings, evenings, weekends or day shifts
  • You are assertive and have the ability to work independently
  • You have an outgoing personality and enjoy conversing with our guests
