What are my responsibilities?

As a Public Area Supervisor you are part of the Styling team. You are responsible for supervising a team of Public Area Attendants and for all public areas to be cleaned according to the brand standards. You will also train and coach Public Area Attendants. You ensure cleaning materials, equipment and chemicals are used correctly and in a safe manner. Next to this you manage guest requests. As Public Area Supervisor it is also important to maintain good communication with other departments and to represent the needs of the team to others in the hotel to maintain good working relationships.

To be eligible for this position you…

- Have previous hotel and preferably Housekeeping experience.

A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
