For the Nova Hotel in the heart of Amsterdam we are looking for a fun, spontaneous colleague for our bustling reception desk. Our reception staff ensures a pleasant stay for our national and international guests by welcoming and supporting them where necessary. The most beautiful goal is that guests are so satisfied that they like to come back again. Do you like people and do you see yourself working in such a team? Then please read on.


What are the duties? 


Besides checking in and out and speaking to guests, you take new reservations and process them in our reception system. These are some administrative and financial tasks that will be explained to you in detail, but a lot happens automatically nowadays. Furthermore you make sure that our housekeeping gets the right information so they can do their job as well as your colleagues in breakfast. In short, besides being the face of our hotel, you are the hub of our company!


What do we ask? 


A cheerful colleague and a team player because we do it together and that requires responsibility, flexibility and collegiality. You speak at least good Dutch and English and every extra language is welcome because our guests come from all over the world.

What do we offer?


A good salary and 100% compensation of travel expenses if you live just a little further than Amsterdam. 

All commissions like cab rides and tours you sell in reception.

25 vacation days based on a full-time job & 8% vacation pay.


Available 2 to 4 shifts per week from 7am-15pm or 3pm-23pm.


Prior training in hospitality or hospitality is a plus
