Reservations Agent - Amsterdam

Through the Reservations Department, the journey of our guests already starts; they get to know our hotel for the first time (personally) through our enthusiastic Agents, making them feel welcome and knowing they are at the right place. Our Agents are not only pleasant to communicate with but also have a lot of knowledge and organizational skills! They take care of the guests at all four Conscious hotels and at all three Hotel V hotels; they answer their questions, help make the best hotel reservations and are happy to arrange any extra requests.

A day in the life of...

As Reservations Agent, you are part of the daily operations of the Reservations department. Currently, the team consists of the Reservations Manager, the Reservations Supervisor, four Reservations Agents and an intern. As a team, you make sure that we offer every guest the best experience at Conscious Group. You'll do this by...

• …answering the phone, emailing and chatting and being the first point of contact for guests who want to book a room at one of the seven hotels

• ...daily checking the new reservations received, processing payments and arranging special requests in no time

• ...deal with complaints - unfortunately, they do happen, but you will know exactly how to deal with them.

What else?

Besides the guest contact and organizational aspect you will learn in the Reservations Department you will have to deal with:

• Work with our modern PMS system MEWS

• Get a look behind the scenes of OTA's backends

• Develop your professional skills

• Attend monthly team meetings and have bilateral meetings with your manager

• You work at one of the most sustainable hotel chains in the Netherlands
